Call for Student Grants
Grants for Attending ICLP 2026
We are pleased to announce the availability of student grants to support participation in ICLP 2026, generously provided by the Artificial Intelligence Journal (AIJ) and the US National Science Foundation (NSF). We encourage all eligible students to apply!
Important Dates
All dates Anywhere-on-Earth (UTC-12).
- Submission Deadline: May 31, 2026
- Notification of Acceptance: July 5, 2026
Who Can Apply
Grants are available to Master’s and PhD students and are conditional upon:
- A certificate of student status
- A statement confirming the lack of sufficient funds to attend ICLP 2026
What Is Covered
The grants will partially cover registration fees and/or travel expenses and/or shared accommodation. The applicant can indicate the type of support he needs, and must indicate their preference for a specific grant type in the application form:
- AIJ offers multiple grants, for travel expenses and/or shared accommodation.
- NSF offers multiple grants that will be provided via reimbursement handled after the conference. NSF grants are only available to students from US-based institutions. Contact Daniela Inclezan at inclezd@miamioh.edu for more details.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Whether the student is an author of a paper accepted at any ICLP-related event
- The submission timestamp
- The personal preference for a specific grant
Under no circumstances can a grant be awarded to an applicant who is not enrolled in a recognized study program (Master’s level – ISCED Level 7 or PhD level – ISCED Level 8 or equivalent), or who is unable to provide valid proof of student status. The committee will maximise student participation given the available funds. The NSF-sponsored grant will be allocated to eligible students based in the United States.
